Past experience also spans the energy, utility and financial industries.   • Responsible for directing and conducting all aspects of the Demand Management function for IT and Engineering
  • Managed the funnel into the technology teams for all new product requirements and feature enhancements requests originating from cross functional business teams
  • Coordinated the entry of non-business originated demand such as BSS/OSS Release upgrades, vendor application release upgrades, hardware changes, and technology productivity enhancements
  • Chaired the Wireless Technology Enhancement and Change Review Board that prioritized all demand
  • Developed level of effort estimates and facilitated the planning of releases factoring in development and testing capacity
  • Successfully managed the gathering of requirements and design of changes to support Cox as a Mobile Network Operator
  • Represented IT during contract negotiations with network vendor for LTE build-out

Sr. Director Wireless Technology - BSS/OSS Program Management

  • Program managed the delivery of the end to end wireless BSS/OSS solution spanning the IT and Engineering domain.
  • Stood up the Oracle Communications stack comprising 9 major components plus 43 custom interfaces to external systems
  • Managed  the Systems Integrator relationship – involving 100 onshore and offshore resources in India, change management,   invoice management,  code release delivery
  • Performed the traditional program management functions – executive reporting, issue resolution, risk management
  • Developed the overall Wireless IT and Engineering implementation program plan for the launch of Cox as network operator
  • Oversaw a multi-million dollar budget for the BSS/OSS build out

  • Represented Cox IT in requirements gathering for the joint wireless reseller venture between the Cable Consortium and Sprint

  • Member of PMO team that successfully program managed  the deployment of  Wireless Number Portability within Nextel  in time to meet the federally mandated date
  • Responsible for managing the solution architecture and management of  changes to 27 different IT systems
  • Chaired the WLNP IT Architecture Review Board and Production Support Review Board 
  • Provided Tier 3 support for the most difficult customer and system problems escalated by the triage team
  • Developed functional specifications for a proposed MVNO venture between Nextel and Disney

Senior Principal and Solutions Delivery Manager - Telecommunications

  • Functional Manager – Led functional requirements gathering for a convergent billing and operational support system for New Jersey-based provider of Cable, Telephony and Internet services.  Evaluated COTS platforms for each functional area and developed the current and envisioned business processes for the convergent operation
  • Implementation Program Manager – Winstar Communications - Managed several integration project teams that consolidated 8 different billing platforms for the CLEC’s domestic & international broadband subsidiaries into a single Kenan Arbor/BP billing system
  • Program Financial Manager – AMS / Mannesmann Mobilfunk - Supervised the financials during the development of a new  integrated Billing & Customer Care system (Tapestry)
  • Development & Implementation Program Manager – Sprint Local Division – Managed multi-site team of 55 people during the successful implementation of a Message Processing System (MPS) for Sprint Local Division’s billing operation.  
  • Business Administration Manager – BellSouth - Directed operational and business administration aspects of an IT services engagement worth approximately $20MM per year.  Recruited 150 IT professionals; oversaw the build-out of a new office facility and IT Training Center; and, established Finance, Accounting, HR, and LAN Support functions
  • Senior Functional Lead - Saudi PTT - Evaluated customer care systems for the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Post Telegraph & Telecom as part of the TEP-6 program, prior to privatization. Gathered requirements for a new billing system
  • Project Lead – Led a team that conducted a study of order flow-through at Verizon’s Wholesale Division’s Call Centers and recommended improvements that would help Verizon meet the pre-requisites for getting permission from state PUCs for offering long distance service

Senior Principal and Solutions Delivery Manager – Energy and Utilities

  • Systems Integration Manager – Implemented Oil and Gas Exploration &Production (E&P) software for joint interest cost and revenue management at 5 major energy E&P companies in U.S. & Canada.
  • Senior Business Consultant - Developed the requirements for a financial application, evaluated decision support systems, and document management systems for PSE&G, a large New Jersey-based utility.
  • Business Analyst - Designed a Gas Plant Accounting System for automating the complex volume allocations and accounting functions for all of Shell Oil Company's gas plants.
